UFOs and THE END-TIME DELUSION

In the above SOUNDING THE CLARION CALL, I tried to dramatize how modern-day spiritual warfare is going on between regular Christian people vs. SATAN who uses all of his guileful wiles!!! I even entered a personal note, because I take these subtle attacks personally…and I am not going to stand for it! {{Satan does not take a break – so why should we as Christian soldiers in exposing these very wiles!?!}}

Hence, I take it upon myself to review solid Christian books that help the average person realize just how subtle the tricks of Satan are, especially the tricks that play to the curiosity of the average person, whether they pop-up in the UFO literature and ‘tinsel-like’ TV & movie programs, or whether they be tied to fanciful ghost stories or other paranormal phenomena that (from what I can discern,) revolve around some subtle – and sometimes not so subtle – form of demonic activity or strategy, whose purpose is eventually obvious: THE DESTRUCTION OF THE SOUL using the slippery oil of seductive goo!

That is the reason I took such pains in evaluating the subtle seduction of the reincarnation dynamic, as posted on the link:

This is serious business, and it took me quite a few years to unravel its seductive subtlety, having gone down many a ‘gooey’ rabbit hole in the process. I wish to spare you these underground sticky-trips, so you can spend your time more fruitfully, reaping what I have sown, sort of speak. Hence, I will be examining the ideas of Dr. Lewis, especially as it relates to the field of Ufology, which is intimately connected to the end time delusion, in my humble opinion….

Let’s start at the beginning of Lewis’s book: In ‘CLOSE ENCOUNTERS,’ the author states his point of view succinctly: UFOs are real, but they are tied to occult and paranormal phenomena (13). {{This is where I also stand on this matter, & I have been investigating this subject since about 1965.}} The author makes the observbation that usually the people involved with this subject have been involved with “metaphysical activity or cults” (15). He cites as a possible exception Betty Andreasson Luca (a Christian believing person,) since she was asked to participate, and not forcibly taken. {{Using this barometer, I would also include Linda Cortile, who I personally know as a fine Christian lady…yet, I would not make absolute statements in this regard, since it is a presumption that may not fit into the full parameters of the demonic abduction phenomenon; just check out the example Dr. Lewis gives as cited in “SOUNDING THE CLARION ALARM,” as cited in the above link, for just one example.}}

Dr. Lewis views people like himself (writing this type of book,) as being viewed as the “bad seed” by those who are on the opposite end of the spectrum, i.e., “the government, the apostate Church, the New Age movement, the international money bankers, the power brokers of Earth in general (17). {{Who could disagree with this rational deduction, since Jesus himself had said that Satan is the prince of this world…and who would be his minions? Those who had given themselves over to ‘mammon’ – therefore the dark forces! THEY WILL ALSO HATE YOU AS THEY HAVE HATED ME (Jesus.}}

The below citation nails the PORTRAIT of the aliens if the so-called aliens are what Lewis feels they really are:

“They are ancient evil foes of mankind and of God. They did not arrive on this planet in spaceships. They are not here to lead us into a New Age of Aquarius and world peace. They are here for deception and the final destruction of th race of man once and for all time. Now that even the secular world is taking note of the reality of demonic possession, it is time for us to reveal the true nature of these ‘visitors’ among us” (23). {{I could not agree more, yet I use ‘The Book of Enoch’ to prove this point in “THE BITE OF THE SERPENT” series, yet Lewis confines himself to the canonical texts;}} this series of articles by Richard Stout & Byron LeBeau are located at:

OVERALL THESIS on THE END-TIME PROPHECIES: (from page 25)

According to Lewis, the “UFO idea will provide one way for sinful humanity to explain away the rapture of the Church. Mankind will demand an explanation for the disappearance of 250 million to 500 million people when the I THESSALONIANS

4:16-18 event occurs.

“And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts" (2 Pet. 1:19).

In chapters three & four following, Dr. Lewis gets into a discussion leading up to the conversation with “J.W.” who is the same as Joanne Wilson that I had highlighted in the above-mentioned, “SOUNDING THE CLARION CALL.” Within these chapters, Lewis reviews some alternative thinking (as opposed to the strictly Biblical approach of devils & demons as Dr. Lewis believes;) the key names he zooms in on are Dr. Allen Hynek (now deceased) who eventually opted to believe that these beings – whoever they are – are “multi-dimensional” (similar to the thinking of JacquesVallee,) and Lewis cites a work by Brad Stieger (THE AQUARIAN CONSPIRACY) which explores non-Biblical explanations for UFOs. Ruth Montgomery also comes into the picture, but her New Age channeling is seen as very suspect by Dr. Lewis, who takes pains to show that this type of activity is expressly forbidden by the Bible, because it could easily be a vehicle used by the “familiar spirits” to take mankind down the wrong “gooey” road – away from the Biblical teachings as Jesus taught mankind about. {{I think it is fair to say, that as of 2007, sixteen years after the printing of Dr. Lewis’s classic book, that things have not changed that much in this secular humanistic society, with only a handful of “Ufologists” like myself, who are substantiating Dr. Lewis’s Biblical approach to Ufology. This is one of the reasons that I am highlighting the arguments of Lewis in his book, even at this late date within 2007.}}

In chapter five: ’UFO DELUSION vs. THE GENESIS RECORD, the author becomes very specific as to his argument.

FOR INSTANCE - the Bible reveals that man is to worship God (and God alone) and to have fellowship with Him (which is confirmed by St. Paul in 1 Tim. 6:15,16.) {{This is an important concept to keep in mind because Satan has been trying his best to get man to do just the opposite ever since the confrontation in the Garden of Eden in Genesis, chapter three, of which the so-called New Age literature and leaders within this movement are proponents thereof; I just found out recently that to be a leader in this movement, one has to have been a member of the masons, which Steven Quayle noted in his book, Genesis 6 Giants. I know from my own research that once one gets to the 30th degree of Freemasonry, he becomes distinctly aware that the god they bow down to is SATAN himself, whom they refer to as the light – Lucifer; however, by this late date, it is well-nigh impossible to extract one’s self from such a dark and secret organization without suffering the highest penalty – death!}}

According to Lewis (from page 62,) what stands in direct opposition to both Judaism & Christianity are ALL other religions or philosophies, which “hold that the universe itself is eternal and negate the idea of a personal Creator. The New Age, Eastern mystics, and UFO advocates preach an impersonal life force. Man is his own god. There is no need of a redeemer, for there is no sin. One may use meditative or other techniques to descend into the lower depths of consciousness and there discover the divine within.” ((I have found through my research that there are exceptions to this general rule, such as the sect that Richard Thompson belongs to, a Hindu sect that does believe in a personal god, but the general theology of the Hindus is far a field from the Biblical tenets of the Hebrew Bible, so I will leave it at that, since it is not my intention to take the sincere belief systems of other people to task, but rather to just point out how easily one can lose a proper focus once one diverts his or her attention from the strict urges of Yahweh.}}

Of course, it is this “impersonal force” that can very easily lead us down the road to an “impersonal” karmic dynamic, which can then be used to substantiate things like reincarnation, and a subject that I had much trouble understanding until recently, because of its subtle undertones and seduction away from the gift of God’s salvation, Jesus dying for our sins so that we do not or cannot earn heaven, but only can acknowledge this precious gift, freely accept it, and then act accordingly; this is the VERY reason that I put up the second link (as noted in the beginning of this essay – because – it has everything to do with the END TIME DELUSION!!! By the end of this review, I hope that you will see clearly what I mean, so I enjoin you to read this link if you do believe in reincarnation, before going any further; otherwise, what Dr. Lewis is trying to warn us about in this book will be like spitting against the wind of your mind & heart.}}

BACK TO DR. LEWIS’s BOOK

On page 65, Dr. Lewis sums up the Biblical theme as clearly as one can, I suppose, so I will quote it in its entirety:

“But before man could enter into the fullness of God’s purposes, he had to choose eternal life or forbidden knowledge. True fellowship and love is always based on free moral agency. If incapable of choosing evil, man would be incapable of experiencing the Divine fellowship. If I could force you to ‘love’ me, it would not be love but slavery. Before you can love me, you have to know the power to reject me. If I can force you to love me, then you are not free. You are a slave or a mechanical toy.”

{{NOTE: Since Satan and his cohorts as well as the GIANTS or earth spirits of demons well know, they will not have any part of the fellowship of God forever and ever; this was made abundantly clear in ‘The Book of Enoch,’ but somehow man did not get the message, and these same “seducing spirits” (who have nothing to lose,) have been trying to bring man down with them since the seduction of Eve in the Garden of Genesis 3. Anyone with eyes that can see, may very well now be able to perceive the dynamics of the UFO & ‘ALIEN’ ABDUCTION PHENOMENON…as being nothing more or less than the continuation of this same ploy…since…there is nothing new under the sun as per the echoes of ECCLESTIASTES, which also, incidentally, calls a spade a spade as it related to man and his lot on this planet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READING!

“For Satan to succeed in the last days (which may be shortly upon us,) he must work a deception so subtle and so powerful that it will overwhelm the human race both with its rationality and attraction.

{{St. Paul would use expressions like being “puffed-up,” but anyone who has seen the ‘’Star Wars’’ trilogy can easily see how easily one could fantasize as “being one with the force” as if this were the same as being one with the Father which, of course, IT ISNT!!! I am convinced (like Dr. Lewis,) that Satan is pulling the strings – or at least heavily influencing the producers and directors of HOLLYWOOD – in one form or another; after all, Satan is the prince of this world, so the ’light of Hollywood would just be another false light to seduce and mesmerize.}}

Chapter six - CHARIOTS OF THE FRAUDS is a brilliant piece of writing, exposing the seductions of Eric Von Daniken’s The Chariots of the Gods. {{I must say when this book (which later became a TV documentary) first appeared, I was absolutely intrigued with the idea that Von Daniken may have stumbled upon a type of ‘Rosetta Stone’ for ripping apart the ancient astronaut theory, to clearly show that extra terrestrials as being really real, and they were visiting us from afar. The evidence seemed almost overwhelming.}} BUT ~ this subtle approach to lead man away from creationism into the murky world of extended Darwinism – or worse still – to look upon God as no longer a deity, “but simply a being from an advanced technological, outer-space civilization,” turns out to be REALLY AN EVIL GOOEY PLAN, by a person who cares little about the truth of the Bible. (80)

The real threat of course was that man would throw off the idea of God and worship himself as God. People now (as Eve in the past) could be made to think that they could be as God, knowing good and evil…but the packaging is now different, yet the seduction remains the same {{because Satan is not creative, but simply repeats the same old theme to get man away from his relationship with the true God.}}

Dr. Lewis makes a causal connection between Von Daniken opening himself up to the occult and his dismissal of the Bible as containing truth. {{I would have to agree with Lewis on this one: the devil seems to have many marvelous ways of “puffing one’s ego up” so they cannot even recognize themselves for who they really are – and here again, reincarnation seems to be one of those seductions within Satan’s bag of tricks; again I invite you to read or re-read my second link on this subject, under the heading of: PROBLEMS INHERENT within REINCARNATION, and take a cold hard look at this seductive concept. It had blindly stumped & cleverly deluded me for well over thirty years until I recently found some of the pitfalls regarding this subject as well as a second confirmational scriptural passage (that had somehow also eluded me)…and I truly empathize with anyone who still believes in it because it will seductively close your eyes (or make them like gooey eye-lids) to certain truths within the Bible that goes to the core of the story of the savior, and the need for a savior, etc., and coincidentally, eliminates the need for a karmic dynamic….}}

Lewis cites a professor at a British Columbian university, a Dr. Herbert Alexander, professor of Archeology, who frankly stated that Von Daniken’s book (as it relates to archeology) is factually incorrect. A NOTE ON THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE BIBLE

I quote from page 99 of Lewis’s book, to cite an interesting statistic as it relates to the Bible. Lewis has found that it has passed the test of science, archeology, history and spiritual effectiveness repeatedly. One theologian has observed that there are 2712 individual prophecies in the Bible. Over 2200 have been fulfilled, literally and demonstrably! As Peter observed: PROPHECY DOES NOT COME FROM MAN BUT FROM GOD (2 Pet. 1:19-20).

UFOs & the PARANORMAL Chapter 8

This is a key chapter with a VERY key concept (that I personally had observed about the demonic entities and how they try to seduce you, as in suck you into their little world, keeping you distracted enough to forget about the truths of the Bible; I saw for myself how easily and subtlely this dynamic can unfold, which I have described in my writings during the mid-1990s, specifically as related in “THE BUD & THE BLOSSOM.”)

Part of the thesis of Lewis’s book is that (as explained on page 119,) that some UFOs which cannot be explained by natural causes may better be explained by spiritual realities. He cites noted UFO researcher Jacques Vallee who wrote the following:

“…UFOs are paranormal in nature and a modern space-age manifestation of phenomenon that assumes different guises in different historical contexts,” [SOURCE: His interview with Fate Magazine. P.61, entitled: “Vallee Discusses UFO Control System.” Lewis bolsters this point by stating (p.120) that real aliens from a far-away world would not need to trick people by appearing in different guises. Deceptive demonic entities would certainly do this! Since the UFO phenomenon has, in fact, taken different guises over the centuries, both Vallee and Lewis agree that there is something more going on than incorporated in the “NUTS & BOLTS ET THEORY,” ~~ to say the least!

Lewis also adds a telling point which I myself have emphasized in my own writings: the “UFO DECEIVERS” twist or deny many important Biblical truths. (I’ve never heard Vallee discuss this point since I do not believe he sees the UFO phenomenon through Christian eyes.) Lewis does, who continues his thought as follows: “Why would supposedly evolved intelligences from other worlds be so concerned about a local, unique, religious manifestation? They should not be threatened by something we would eventually ‘outgrow’ as a race. The obvious answer is that the Bible makes their attempt to deceive us evident. It thwarts their plans for mass brainwashing and takeover. They must deny the truth of the Bible.” (123)

{{THE ABOVE STATEMENT IS AT THE HEART OF WHAT LEWIS IS TRYING TO POSTULATE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE OF HIS BOOK, AND I BELIEVE HE HAS HIT THE NAIL RIGHT ON THE HEAD! I, myself, had always been suspicious about this very indigenous “familiar” take of the “contactors” or “aliens” or “space brothers” or so-called saviors” about what we believe and what they want us to believe; it certainly looked like the wiles of Satan as I perused the UFO literature over the last forty years or so.}}

NOTE: On pages 125-126 of his book, the author cites a litany of items that could be included as technical data to show the direct manipulation of the contactee, or the manipulation of the energy fields surrounding him or her, such as ‘dazzling lights,’ ‘pungent odors’ or ‘humming sounds’. {{Interestingly enough, many of these things show up in so-called religious phenomena or “Marian sightings”; this is not to say that all religious visions are false or manipulative…but we have been enjoined to “test the spirit” as per I JOHN 4:1, so a word to the wise is sufficient.}}

The author makes no bones about the possibility that spiritual entities could indeed create such effects. It is entirely reasonable to believe that “fallen angels could manipulate energy fields to produce many of these effects. Other effects could be accomplished by direct deceptive manipulation of the minds of the contactees by these evil spirits. This includes demonic deception involving illusions.” (127)

{{The above sounds like it is right out of the web pages of The Bite of the Serpent series (which was based on insight derived from the ‘Book of Enoch,’ whereas Dr. Lewis is using the canonical Bible to arrive at the same conclusions!}}

Under the PARANORMAL sub chapter, the author cites a very relevant concept, using Edwin Abbot’s book, “Flatland.” written in 1884. The theme of the book is how a three dimensional being would relate to people in a two-dimensional world; the key concept is that the “Flatlanders” (you and I) would only be able to perceive a part of their (the three-dimensional beings’) true reality ~~ {{so the point is that if we ourselves are dealing with some paranormal i.e., demonic force, which ostensibly operates out of another dimension, but can also transverse this dimension…which is the thesis of ‘The Book of Enoch,’ then we have a good example of how the word PARANORMAL equates to the word DEMONIC! I first became familiar with this idea while reading Peter Ouspenski’s book, “TERTIUM ORGANUM,” at the same time I was reading about all the so-called bizarre things that were happening in Ufology, so when I first saw the “Flatland” book, I instantly made the potential demonic connection, even though it took me a longer time to make the more complete connection, a la the reading of ‘The Book of Enoch,’ which I heartily recommend for anyone trying to put his or her own pieces together about this ‘alien’ abduction phenomenon, and especially the more full meaning contained within the enigmatic Genesis 6:4 verse.}}

HOW IS ALL THIS A THREAT TO MAN?

As Lewis explains on page 131, “Demons as fallen angels, apparently retain great powers, such as the manipulation and restructuring of matter, as well as the ability to influence or control human consciousness and experience through classic possession by direct psychic implantation of a set of experiences.” [SOURCE: ‘’SCP Journal,’’ August 1977, Vol. 1 No.2, ‘UFOs—Is Science Fiction Coming True?’ p.19.]

1) The concepts of the New Age writer, Brad Steiger, which includes the “Veil of Isis,” which when unveiled, leads one deeper in to the rabbit hole of forbidden fruit, including possession, possibly…

2) The possible dangers of undergoing hypnosis…

3) The need of having the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior…

4) Texe Marrs fascinating description of Whitley Strieber’s horrifying experience in his upstate New York home, that included a sexual initiation by a being purported to be Ishtar (as Mother Goddess) who had put a ‘mark’ on his arm (146)…and described in Texe’s book called, “MYSTERY MARK OF THE NEW AGE.” [NOTE: Ishtar = Astarte or Diana, of whom pagans worshipped.]

5) An explanation of ‘kundalini’ or ‘skaktipat’ which is experienced by New Agers

6) An interesting disclosure of Brad Steiger & how he was infected with New Age ideas (154) which came from his own pen in “Revelation: The Divine Fire.”

7) The similarities of Steiger with Ruth Montgomery

8) The dubiousness of concepts such as reincarnation, avatars, aliens & “walk-ins.”

9) How the magic wand was used to program abductees (such as Strieber) which was done to him by Ishtar (164).

10) The channeled experiences of Shirley MacLain…NOTE:{{I have dramatized her ideas by reviewing the book of F. LaGard Smith called, “Out on a Broken Limb,” on the below link:

11) The absolute dubiousness about subjects and people who associate themselves with the New Age, like J.J. Hurtag, since his Keys of Enoch (not to be confused with the ‘Book of Enoch,’ promotes trance states & other New Age packagings…

12) the further dubiousness of trance states and the need for “KARMA”…

13) the quote of “Semjase” to Brad Steiger on the bottom of page 176: “Whether we work for God or against God, it matters not, for we are all God – and our forms preserve our Karmic quest in search of the unmanifest” [“Unmanifest” is a term for nirvana.] {{I highlighted this because I had noted that Richard Thompson cited the same “Semjase” unmasking her alien gibberish while she was talking to her “contactee” friend – Billy Meier, in the book ALIEN IDENTITIES; the informative link to this examination is at:

14) The dubiousness of the “ASHTAR COMMAND” as touted by Ruth Montgomery in her book, “Aliens Among Us.” (185)

15) A whole chapter (12) dealing with the dynamic of ‘’The Rapture” as in being ‘caught-up’ – reflected in 1 Thess. 4:16-18, plus the examination of the Greek word, ‘’harpazo.’’

16) The FOURFOLD delusion being put forth by Satan & the bad guys…(203)

17) The BIG LIE of the Antichrist exposed for all to see

18) And lastly, the happy ending for all those who put their reliance on the Father God, the Holy Spirit & the Son as Savior.

The only other sources you will need to put on the spiritual armor of the Father Yahweh & His Christ Yahushua (whom we now call Jesus,) is a copy of ‘The Book of Enoch,’ a good copy of the Hebrew Bible, a copy of a Greek translation of the New Testament (Covenant,) preferably before Constantine’s 4th century’s editing and mistranslations, and a focus on who the real enemy is, as St. Paul outlined in his epistle of Ephesians, chapter six.

TO KNOW YOUR ENEMY IS THE FIRST STEP IN SUCCESSFULLY DEFEATING HIM; not to know him is the first step down the slippery slope of his hard-to-leave rabbit holes, filled with smoke and mirrors, leading one to utter confusion and despair.

POSTSCRIPT: There is a beautiful quote that Dr. Lewis cites from page 237, which needs no introduction or comment, so I will end with this:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…” (James 4:7,8).
