REFLECTIONS OF A HINDU SAINT

Page history last edited by Byron LeBeau 14 years, 2 months ago

Since HIndus have not come to the full knowledge of God, I.E., that Jesus (Yashua) is God in the flesh and the ONLY God who has made all and everything, then any reflections of a Hindu saint (or any other believer that falls short of the true scripture,) has to be looked up with caution.

Having said that, there is an interesting book by Don Richardson called, ETERNITY IN THEIR HEARTS, which addresses the core issue of those in every culture who have been seeded with the core of the one true God, and only waiting for that truth to be fully understood, so that final redemption can take place.

CHECK IT OUT! One example from the aforementioned Richardson's book should suffice to have you give pause as to the God-seeding that preceeded the missionaries:

The author alludes to the suggested data that the Karen people of Burma that were expecting a "white brother" who would fill in the knowledge of their one supreme God - Y'wa...

The British missionaries seemed more concerned in other things rather than listening to the intuitive wisdom they were being confronted with; in any event, the author cites one of their hymns  as cited by Mr.s MacCleod Wylie, "THE GOSPEL IN BURMA," (p.6) where this particular hymn reflects the first book of Genesis:

[The below is from Richardson's book, pp. 69-70, after he reflected on how similar the Karen people reflected the same understanding as Pachacuti's hymns to Viracocha, from the INCA culture of Peru:]

"Y'wa formed the world origianlly.

He appointed food and drink.

He appointed the "fruit of trial."

He gave detailed orders.

Mu-kaw-lee [Satan] deceived two persons.

He caused them to eat of the fruit of the tree of trial.

They obeyed not; they believed not Y'wa...

When they ate the fruit of trial,

They became subject to sickness, aging, and death..."

((This should give ANYONE who may arrogantly think that we are not all connected already by Yahweh (or in this case - Y'wa,) PAUSE TO THINK AGAIN!!!  While you are perhaps - rethinking - read the 18th chpater of THE CREATION ANSWERS BOOK, 'HOW DID ALL THE DIFFERENT RACES ARISE,' edited by Don Batten.
