PERSONALITY beyond DARWIN

 

I recently had viewed a DVD called, UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF LIFE. It was a 65 minute expose with beautiful graphics demonstrating quite clearly to me that DARWINISM cannot adequately address the initial mysteries when it comes to how life took form. This DVD should be compulsory viewing in all our national public school systems, if truth about our condition and relation to the Universe and the One who designed it is to be somewhat known and appreciated.

 

Without going into technical detail (best left to the viewing of this film.) allow me to simply state that the various scientists (from leading edge micro-biologists to philosophers of biological processes,) presented the case for the inadequacies of Darwinism to explain how life got started. In graphic detail, the heart of the argument revolved around the incredible complexity of “machines” & “motors” that were present from the very beginning, where the very parts of these machines and motors had to per force come together by some form of intelligent design, since the very nature of Darwinism posits that if any given “part” has no immediate function, it would be cast aside in “nature’s ongoing struggle” to evolve.

 

Unfortunately, there is no room for a personality or designer in Darwinian theory, so WHO DESIGNED THESE PERFECTLY FUNCTIONING MACHINES AND MOTORS AT THE VERY SOURCE OR BEGINNINGS OF LIFE, AND HOW COULD THEY JUST COME TOGETHER NATURALLY?!?

 

A good analogy would be to posit that the natural forces of evolution caused and brought together the many functioning parts of a mousetrap - so it could work properly…yet in evolutionary theory, no one crucial part for its very functioning is “necessary” in the overall scheme of things, yet if even one part of the mousetrap is missing, it would be just a useless conglomeration of parts!!! We are literally in the same predicament as to explaining what we see in life and how it got there to begin with.

 

As the scientific personalities on the aforementioned DVD demonstrate, these machines & motors were right there from the beginning of what we call LIFE - functioning just as smoothly as the aforementioned MOUSETRAP, creating the proper functions so that life could “evolve” upward.

 

None of these scientists concluded that this could happen by chance, so the implication is that there IS an intelligent designer of these initial processes. Some non-Darwinists call this the UNIVERSAL FORCE; others GOD; I call it the ETERNAL UNBEGOTTEN who operates above and beyond the known physical realms, and the ultimate source of all that has emanated downward, both visible & invisible!

PREMISE: Every living cell is an information system with no known natural cause…so…the intelligent speculative scientists gathered together in this production had to make some “not so surprising” leaps in intuition regarding the assembled data….

Paul Nelson (a philosopher of Biology who gives a thoughtful ongoing commentary to the proceedings, which took place at a cited dune in California.

 

Philip Johnson, author of DARWIN ON TRIAL.

 

Michael Behe, who is a bio-chemist from Lehigh University, and author of the book, DARWIN’S BLACK BOX, which poked some mighty holes in Darwinian theory, as backed up by this DVD…

 

Jonathan Wells, author of ICONS OF EVOLUTION.

 

Scott Minnich, molecular biologist out of the University of Idaho.

 

“PLOT”

 

There is a brief discussion about Darwin’s journey to the Galapagos Islands, and the ramifications of his theory. Many of the collected scientists have changed their collected minds about the value of DARWINISM, since answers to assumptions made by Darwin and others, have not been satisfactory.

 

WHY NOT?

 

Molecular machines have been found at the most elementary level of primary cells, begging the question as to how they could have been “assembled” if there is no prior INTELLIGENCE?!? The idea revolves around the concept of IRREDUCIBLE COMPLEXITY - with the example given of the ‘bacteria flagellum’ which, for all practical purposes, acts like a complete functioning machine with many parts…but as suggested in the above introductory remarks, each part has no real function in itself until it becomes PART OF THE WHOLE MACHINE – which goes against DARWINIAN THEORY that ‘’eliminates’’ parts if they serve no immediate function!!!

 

CO-OPTION

 

This is the very feeble theory presented by Darwinists to answer the question of how nature produces intelligent functioning machines “willy-nilly” by borrowing these parts from other living cells – but it does not really answer the question satisfactorily….leaving us once again to ponder the possibility of “PERSONALITY beyond DARWIN!!!”

 

Dean Kenyon, a former Darwinist believer spends a good deal of time “unlearning” what he assumed to be true, once his students raised some intriguing questions about Darwinism which he thoughtfully could not explain away!!! His book, BIOLOGICAL PREDESTINATION, had to be “revised in his own mind” since it did not pass muster regarding the ensuing research into this area….

 

THE CRUX OF THE DEAN CONUNDRUM as explained by STEPHEN MEYER:

 

DEAN COULD NOT ANSWER EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING: (a) Where did the genetic assembly instructions come from (turning amino acids into sequential proteins using codes of A-C-T-& G??? OR (b) How could proteins have arisin from amino acids (without DNA) from the primordial oceans??? 

 

Since he could not resolve these two questions put to him by a graduate student, he acknowledged that his thesis of biochemical evolutionary predestination was FLAWED---which of course implies that the vacuum be filled by AN INTELLIGENT CREATOR.

 

 

The end of the DVD goes into the awesome machine of DNA, and how it is so finely tuned, it leaves one wondering just how it could have just come together -- naturally!!!

 

For those who believe in a divine intelligence, the above exercise will be comforting supporting evidence thereof; for those who don’t, well – it may give you something to chew on into ETERNITY.

Bowling Green, KY, March 23, 2007 - In what has turned out to be the most controversial document since Charles Darwin penned the "Origin of the Species", "Episteme Scientia-The Law of All that Is," suggests science has been proving God's existence, all along. 2) There is a mathematical and physical relationship between all (b) frequency and (c) sound.

 

3) Therefore, there is a mathematical and physical relationship between all (a) matter and (c) sound.

 

 

By first order logic (the premises 1 and 2 are confirmed by all physics and chemistry to be true and equal) it can be shown that

matter not only has a mathematical relationship to sound but a physical one as well. This proves that God did speak all things

into existence; and the body of every living creature from bacteria to human, as all perform this process millions of times per

day through their senses, is living proof.

 

 

Samuel says that his document is the mathematical and empirical proof that the bible can and is compatible to and verifiable by science on levels that are only just now beginning to be recognized. The proof also answers dozens of other scientific, theological, and philosophical questions. Hunt says, "I'm not here to argue for evidence of this or that. It's important, but that's like putting God on trial and allowing people to believe whatever they want. My document proves the Genesis record as the only infallible scientific explanation for our origins." According to Hunt, his 84-page document holds the missing factor in the quest to find the Grand Unified Theory of Science.

 

 

 

Even now, the Darwinists are taking up arms. Just like the above-mentioned documentary, it touches on the same ideas, but presents the evidence through “point-counterpoint” technique in a way that approaches a IRREDUCIBLE COMPLEXITY** which would very strongly suggest an INTELLIGENT DESIGNER – otherwise known as THE ONE & ONLY GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, and answered IN SPADES in the other documentary, “UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF LIFE!”

 

The conversation Stein has with Professor Richard Dawkins (author of “THE GOD DELUSION,”) is priceless since Dawkins himself may be being deluded as another author, Alister McGraff, challenged his anti-God hypothesis with his own book called, “THE DAWKINS DELUSION.”

 

Needless to say, nowhere within the confines of this documentary could any pro-Darwin enthusiast give a satisfactory answer to the expression:
