The below is an email I sent to a young Earth Creationist upon reading my first 'review' article from the above-cited title of this web page. [This will be an ongoing series of The Inspector's OPINIONS of this well-written and professional journal, informing people of the latest findings in the Creationists' view of the literal truth of THE BOOK OF GENESIS; it may also be used for HOME-SCHOOLING purposes, so that the youth of the world do not grow up ignornat of God's creation.]

I just finished my first look at one of the articles in the JOURNAL of CREATION, (Volume 23 (3) 2009, entitled: 'A revealing look at the world's religious belief systems,'  regarding Andrew Kulikovsky's review of Robert Stark's book, Discovering God (p. 31.)

 WOW! The expression, 'Damn with faint praise,' seldom took on more relevancy than in Kulikovsky's review of Stark's 'defense' of Christianity in relation to other pagan religions, past & present. The reviewer's exposing of this real danger puts this review in the category of CLASSIC, in my opinion.

What we ironically "discover" is the author's severe lack of understanding of the real importance of Jesus Christ's necessary blood sacrifice to completely atone for the sins of mankind, making everything else that Stark said - irrelevant!

Although the author cites some of the failings of other pagan religious cultures, Stark's failure himself to understand the true nature of the GLOBAL FLOOD reflects a title that should have read, "Not Really Discovering God's Motives - Giving It My Best Shot" [!]

Kudos to Kulikovsky...& to Mr. Stark: Start reading your Old & New Testament a tad more carefully, before making sweeping statements about the true relevancy of Christianity which shines as the only true light amidst all other feigning religions.

PS: I would also like to mention that in this same JOURNAL...Andrew Kulikofsky wrote a second book review that was (even better) than the first one (aforementioned) since his criticism of author Nick Hawkes (p.44) would give any aspiring YEC (Young Earth Creationist) a very good set of reasons to see that these YECS really know what they are talking about (including Kulikofsky) and unfortunately at the expense of the poor research of Nick Hawkes. [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READING!]
