ASTROLOGY THE ANUNNAKI and SITCHIN

[A look at Zecharia Sitchin’s latest 2007 book, THE END OF DAYS: Armageddon & Prophecies of the Return, published by William Morrow, N.Y., N.Y., and how it totally contradicts the information presented on this website regarding THE CURS-ED NET.”]

Having read “THE EARTH CHRONICLES SERIES” to this point, now including this latest above-mentioned book, and after having done an exhaustive analysis of ‘The Book of Enoch’ in relation to THE HOLY BIBLE, especially as it relates to the warnings about astrology, which itself was spawned by the ‘Fallen Angels,’ I can only wonder as to what agenda Sitchin may have in his dogged attempt for us to see the Anunnaki of the alleged planet Nibiru, as the real Ehohim that THE HOLY BIBLE speaks of regarding the creation of mankind.

THE OVER-RIDING PROBLEM OF INTERNAL INCONSISTENCY

Richard Stout & I, in presenting the three-part series of “THE BITE OF THE SERPENT,” located at http://inspectorblebeau.pbwiki.com/THE-BITE-OF-THE-SERPENT-SECTION-SERIES made it overly obvious that only demonic forces with supernatural knowledge could have been responsible for teaching mankind about the art of astrology, derived from astronomy; this was clearly demonstrated in ‘The Book of Enoch,’ with the fruit of warnings about astrology clearly echoed in many of the books of the Old Testament, including Deuteronomy. What do we see revealed in Sitchin’s latest work?

It was almost amusing to me, that the very ‘prince’ of these same Anunnaki (or what Sitchin is fond of saying,) those who from heaven to earth came, was the master architect of this astrological system. If you read the book, I find it almost amazing that these same Anunnaki (being extra-terrestrial gods) were Sitchin’s root of the angels of God who went into the daughters of men, without a thought about how this may have been a transgression of God’s holy order, the very order that Enoch went on and on about, and ostensibly was known about by Sitchin in his comprehensive analysis of the Old Testament, referring to the Enochian tradition as “apocryphal” (57.) How can you have a less than ideal group of so-called “advanced” beings doing such things to the daughters of men on the one hand, and being shown to be our gods on the other hand, while all the while, the Bible warns mankind not to act like this, nor honor or serve the sun, the moon, or any star!?! [If you say that there may be games going on here, another Mesopotamian scholar by the name of Michael Heiser might just agree with you, especially when it comes to the word-games possibly played by Sitchin in his writings. Sitchin makes no bones about Enki’s (one of the princes of the Anunnaki) link to astrology: It was Enki (and not the Greek astronomer Hipparchus of the 3rd century B.C.E.,) who was responsible for grouping the stars into constellations, and arranging the Zodiacal Circle; he therefore was the one responsible for man’s understanding of the “precession of the equinoxes,” since this whole concept involved the twelve houses of the zodiac, where each house had 30 degrees within the arc of their circle, while it takes our earth 72 years to make one trip around the sun, but retarding one degree (of 360 degrees) each time it does so; therefore it takes the sun approximately 2160 years to go through one zodiac sign (of 30 degress,) so a complete zodiac age would therefore last 25,920 years (2160 X 12 zodiac houses) 17

All of astrology is based on these ‘precession’ facts; Enki introduced it! Sitchin sees the Anunnaki as mankind’s benefactor from another planet (Nibiru) who were responsible for mankind, and are the gods of the Bible. YET Enoch would disagree with this analysis since he clearly stated in chapter eight of 1 Enoch that Barkayal taught the observers of the stars, Akibeel taught the signs, Tamial taught astronomy, and Asaradel taught the motion of the moon. All of these ‘Fallen Angels’ were part of the transgression against God, led by Azazyel & Samyaza [introduced in chapter seven.) If Enoch linked Fallen Angels with teaching mankind astrology (and astronomy,) then surely (if the Sumerian texts are not mistaken,) Enki must be somehow related to these same Fallen Angels – and therefore a demonic being - and not extraterrestrial!

YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

This is just one reason why I believe (especially if our research on UFOs & the demonic abduction phenomenon is correct,) that Sitchin had an agenda, starting right from the get-go with the 1976 publication of “THE TWELFTH PLANET.” Here, I now believe, he was trying to get man to see those “wild & crazy guys” from outer space as our gods and saviors, while using modern technology(that included bio-genetic engineering,) to answer how these beings were technologically advanced to the extent that they could create man, and leave a legacy (which according to Sitchin,) became the cryptic residue as found in our modern Bible, based on the Sumerian texts.

You either believe this – or you don’t! Again, you cannot have it both ways. When I see something that shows the tell tale signs of being disingenuous, RED FLAGS pop up all over the place! Unfortunately, this is what I currently see in Sitchin’s writings, and (at one time,) I was one of his so-called “fans!”

It is not an easy thing to get to the core of the truth, but that does not mean we can’t see a RED HERRING when one appears! If NIBIRU can be seen as a metaphor for THE CURSED NET, then anyone who reads Sitchin should be on his or her guard. Even if we discount the stories of Arizona Wilder – who saw Sitchin shape-shift into a Reptilian being, (and I have the interview which shows this,) we cannot so easily dismiss the warnings of Enoch (of whom even St. Jude in the New Testament cites as being a prophet of God,) then we may have to look twice as to why this same Sitchin is showing that Enki, as well as the other Anunnaki, are merely advanced beings (with longer life cycles – but not eternal,) should be treated as factual truth. Perhaps it is just another FAÇADE being perpetrated by the ‘Fallen Angels,’ as orchestrated by the Father of Lies himself!

OTHER IDEAS IN BOOK WORTH KEEPING IN MIND

1) The same Ishtar condemned by the Bible (CF. JER. 7:18-21,) is part of the entourage of Enki’s clan, (as well as being Enki’s granddaughter,)

(previously known as Inanni) [31.]

2) According to Sitchin (54,) it was Marduk (RA) as the first to take a daughter of man unto himself, which (according to Enoch,) was the transgression of the Gregori, as per II ENOCH 18:3, who considered their prince “Satanail.” It is interesting that RA is the son of Enki, so if the Sumerian myth is a cover story for the true tale as told in The Slavonic Enoch, it just makes the cheese more binding as an ET cover story. Incidentally, Sitchin (55) has Enki himself copulating with women…and in the Ethiopian version (I ENOCH 68:7, “Gadrel” is the one who seduced Eve. Enki went under other names such as “Quetzelcoaltl” in Mesoamerica, so maybe this is just one other name for “the winged serpent!”

3) I thought it a bit flippant of Sitchin (regarding the transgression done in Gen. 6:4) that he paints the picture that the ‘Igigi’ gods had intercourse with the daughters of men because they would need “company” for Marduk (RA’s) wedding (57.)

4) Sitchin even suggests (citing European scholars & theologians) that he did not really cite, that the story of Jesus can somehow be paralleled to the story of Marduk – as a “prototype of Jesus” ((114.) He then enumerates some of these so-called “parallels,” such as the divine birth in a pure place, supremacy denied, being sentenced to death, being buried alive in the Great Pyramid, rescued and resurrected, banished and exiled; eventually he became the supreme god, acquiesced to by Anu, supreme god, and Enlil, who was in line for the throne of Anu on Nibiru.) {{I personally found this parallel less than compelling – and frankly, not a parallel at all – but almost like a wanna be trying to measure up to true and pure divinity – which, of course, it cannot do, yet this is what you are stuck with if you buy into the mythology Sitchin is promulgating! 5) On page 191, for anyone who disagrees with Sitchin, his linkage of King David with the Nephilim will be hard to take…yet Sitchin goes on unabashedly to do just that: Sitchin plainly links that Anakim (as the Nephilim of Genesis 6:4,) with King David (as the king of Hebron.) It seems David is the one who will continue the Anunnaki-Sumerian line…previously held by “Kiryat Arba” who was the “Great Man of the Anakim” and not too coincidentally, Hebron bears his name at that very time. {{Any link to the future bloodline of Jesus as the root of Jesse is obviously intentional, although Sithcin does not seem to want to push the envelope here, but by a clever use of language, is doing just that, methinks!}}

6) A MATTER OF INTERPRETATION: Sitchin paints a pretty picture of Nibiru majestically crossing the heavens, almost as if it were touring its handiwork while making the long 3600 year journey past Earth; Zecharia has Nibiru “arriving” at the Great Bear, Sirius, and Orion, and the constellations of the south (Job 9,) while in (Amos 5:9,) he saw his face upon Taurus and Aries, from Taurus to Sagittarius he shall go. {{Sitchin notes that all this happens while Nibiru (Marduk) is traveling in a clockwise orbit from way out in space to around the sun (similar to what a comet like Halley would traverse;) however, when I looked in my Catholic Confraternity Bible, I found that it does not state the word “arrive” or “arrives at” but rather, both in Job & Amos, merely states “that God made the Pleiades and Orion, and “he made the Bear and Orion,” – and not passes it as if traveling on a planet-sized spaceship across the heavens.}}

7)SPECULATION: On page 275, we learn from Sitchin that Alexasnder the Great was indeed the son of Ram-god Amon. This is interesting on two counts: a) it would lend further credence to the notion that Ishtar would not want him trespassing on her turf; b) if St. Jude was right, and these culprits were thrown down from their FIRST ESTATE, (an assessment we have agreed with throughout “THE BITE OF THE SERPENT” series, then it would stand to reason that even though demons had been thrown down – that they would protect what they had left, i.e., their SECOND ESTATE…which seems to include this earth as part of their CURS-ED NET!

THE BOTTOM LINE

Sitchin’s EARTH CHRONICLES SERIES, including this latest book under review, is a good example of what not to believe 100%! Does this mean that the information is bogus? Absolutely not! It simply means that anyone who tries to use the Bible to prove an ET-GOD connection is creating such a RED FLAG to one’s understanding of the Bible, that it should not be necessary to beat a dead horse to “prove” it! I think that Richard Stout & I have presented the truth of the UFO and alien abduction phenomenon in its proper light with no hidden agendas, etc. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for Zecharia Sitchin. BUYER BEWARE!
